Kudligi is bounded on the north by the HB Halli and Sandur taluks,on the south by Jagalur taluk of Davanagere district and Molakalmuru taluk of Chitradurga district,on the east by the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh and on the west by Harpanahalli taluk of Davanagere district.
The two main attractives of Kudligi Town is Mahatma Gandhiji Chithabasma located at play ground named mahadeva mylara play ground and National Highway 13. Jarmali Forest and Shivapura Forest are the main forest areas, people mainly depends upon largely grown tamarind and its parts. The Biggest Banyan tree troops nearby town is most attractive.
Kudligi taluk takes its name from its headquaters town which is at a distance of 80 kms. from Bellary city. With a chilling capacity of 30,000 litres per day chilling capacity expandable to 40,000 liters per day during 2016.
